It's been a good weekend but a wild weekend. Carl left at 3 in the morning to drive to Cincinnati about 4.5 hours from Nashville. He arrived back home about 2. We missed him but appreciate him working hard for our family. Evie had a play date with her friend Landon from preschool. Landon has a little sister about Henry's age and they brought a Mother's Helper too so it was a nice morning at the park. Everyone was exhausted and took a rest. Evie and I watched Mary Poppins for the first time together and she is a huge fan. Henry thought his trains were more interesting and Carl needed a little nap after his morning adventure. We went to Courtney's house for a delicious dinner of enchiladas and corn salad. YUMMY! They also made a fabulous dip - I LOVE dips. It was a jar of cheese dip - any type will do. Add fresh cilantro and Parmesan. Try it - you will be hooked. I could have licked the bowl. We had such a fun night with our favorite neighbors and the walk home is not bad either. Evie wanted to match with Henry so she could be like the boys since they like to match too. That Evie keeps life interesting. It's been a busy day of taking care of our to-do list around the house. Never ending list! Hope y'all had a great weekend!
The picture of Henry with the baby doll is so sweet! And Evie looks so big!! We have the never-ending to-do list as well! ;) Glad you had a great weekend!
I have been married for 10 adventurous and amazing years to the greatest husband ever. I am mommy to a beautiful daughter, Evie and an adorable little boy, Henry. I love quiet time, milk chocolate, fun books, rainy days, glass bottled coke, cooking and all things pink! I loathe cell phones at the table and being late. Follow along with a snippet of our life.
