Tuesday and Wednesday

Evie is still loving the beach. She cannot decide whether she likes the beach or the pool best. The float is a huge hit but jumping to Daddy is way more fun. We met twin boys and Evie had so much fun. They are almost 3 and the kids went right to town playing together.


After naps and round 2 in the sun, we headed out for dinner. Evie was amazing and ate her food. We took her to a beach playground but it was a little too chilly. We rode around and checked out the area.


Evie is sleeping great here and we are getting some extra sleep too. We love the king size bed! It was chilly this morning so we headed to Destin. It was fun to see a new place. We went to some outlets and Evie was thrilled to see a playground. We let her play for a bit before heading to lunch. We went to The Crab House and they had it all even a playground on the beach. Evie's kids meal came in a bucket with a shovel although she mostly ate lemons for lunch. Evie explored their playground too. We figured that she'd sleep on the way back but she thought her show was way more entertaining. Carl and I were discussing the nap situation and she piped in with her opinion which was to skip a nap. She was asleep within minutes of hitting her crib. Carl met a family from Nashville on the beach while I napped.


Carl brought her out to the beach and then we hit the pool. Evie loves vacation! It sure goes quickly. We hung out in our condo tonight. Evie spends a lot of time taking care of her baby and put playing cards in their box for 20 minutes. Poor kid has not had a real veggie all week unless you count olives. That's what vitamins are for!
