Weekend Wrap-up: Fevers, Cinco de Mayo and 22 Months

It's been a low-key weekend around these parts! Lots of chilly rain, fevers and whining. Carl took Henry to the doctor yesterday since he was still running a fever. He has walking pneumonia - sounds worse than it is but still not fun. Henry could really benefit from a constant stream of antibiotics because he catches every bug.

Evie and I went to a Cinco de Mayo party on Saturday night! Carl and Henry were disappointed that they could not join us. It was really fun and festive with lots of colorful decorations, yummy drinks and delicious food. Mexican food is my favorite! I had my first 'margatini' which was quite refreshing. Evie had a blast watching a movie in the theatre room and has not requested her own "movie fee-ater" at her house. I enjoyed catching up with friends while the Dad's took over kid duty. Evie crashed at bedtime after the "Mayo" party.

Evie, Henry and I were all under the weather again today. Carl has managed to stay well so far. Fingers crossed that he stays well this week. Henry turned 22 months today which seems impossible.

I know our weekend sounds so exhilarating and filled with adventure. Hope everyone has a great week!

  2. I hope everyone is feeling better. I'm with Evie on the theatre room. My friend has one at it's fun, comfy, and free!

  3. This rainy weather and cold snap has brought this nastiness to our house as well. We were out of town this weekend but got home to realize Davis had an infected/congested lung, nose and ears! Here's hoping all in your house are on the mend!
