Case of the Mondays

It's been a long day at the Niemeyer Nest. Evie has not been in the most pleasant mood. Maybe she wishes it was still Halloween. We stayed home all morning and did a few things around the house. She is really into owls these days so we read some owl books and watched an owl video.

Evie napped and I did a few things. Have you ever bought your kids clothes from Shrimp and Grits? They are having a HUGE sale and I really got some good stuff for Evie. She is going to be so excited to see her owl dress.

It was time for a flu shot after nap. Evie did great making friends in the waiting room, resting on the table drinking her milk in the office. She did even notice the shot until after it was over. Evie found a stray bag of raisinettes in my bag which caused a pretty large fit in the bathroom.

Our weather has just been beautiful. Evie and I walked over to the park and enjoyed the sunshine. Evie wanted her baby to get a little fresh air too so we all played outside together. It's so cute to see Evie with her babies. She changes their "poo poo" and tells them they are "okay" when they fall down. It's funny to see  her impersonate the things we do.

Evie played outside with the triplets and they came inside with their mom to look at our paint color. Let me just say that I am so thankful that we do not have four children. Evie loved getting wagon rides from her friends. Carl supervised this while I made dinner.

We had a pretty good day but will lots of whining. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day!
