Busy Day!

We have been so busy today! After Evie's nap, we went to Murfreesboro to see Maura and Abby. It was so nice to see them. Evie had fun playing but then got tired. Abby is getting so big. I love to see her walking around! Maura made some delicious brownies. It's really hard to keep Evie and Abby still long enough for a picture! Don't they look precious in their Christmas outfits.

Evie was asleep before we left the neighborhood. Carl was home to go with me to a doctors appointment. We were there for 2.5 hours! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Evie did great but it was just such a long appointment. Vanderbilt has such fabulous medical care. I am so impressed. Carl did a great job at my appointment asking important questions. On our way home, we were fascinated by all of the houses decorated for Christmas. It's amazing! We have a few Griswald's in our neighborhood. I am sure Evie will love to look at all the pretty lights as she gets older.

We came home and made chicken pot pie for dinner. Delicious! Perfect on a cold, rainy night. Evie had a bath and went straight to bed. She was exhausted! My Aunt Libby made Evie a beautiful blanket. It's so soft and sweet. Evie loves to play with the tags on it. Thanks Aunt Libby!
