It's been a really long day. Evie always needs extra attention when we return from a trip. I must have read her 60 books today. Every once in awhile, I'd try to sneak away and she'd come find me and drag me back to the couch for more books. It's pretty cute the first time but my house is a disaster!
Carl called to let us know that hot air balloons were outside. Evie thought this was the coolest thing ever. She kept pointing at the sky shouting ball. It was really fun to see her so excited. They were so close that we could hear them.
I am loving my dinner swap meals.We had Christina's delicious sausage, basil lasagna. I threw together a quick salad and tossed some rolls in the oven . . . voila dinner was ready. It makes life so much easier when you can just pop something in the oven that someone else has already prepared for your family.
So jealous of your prepared meals! :) I really must look into that idea here...
ReplyDeleteI used to love hot air balloons as a child. We lived near a golf course and a lot of the balloons would land there; we used to get in the car and follow them to the course so we could get closer to them.
