One Month!
Dear Henry,
You are one month old! I always thought it was so funny when people said they felt like their babies had always been here - we feel like you have always been here with us! You are such a sweet boy and we love you more every day.
You weigh 10 pounds and 12 ounces. Some of your clothes are already too small! It is amazing how quickly you are growing. You are beginning to lift your head more and more. Water makes you happy and bath time is your favorite part of the day. You also like to hang out on the Boppy while we shower so you can hear the water.
Evie loves you more and more everyday. I was feeding you today and she was sitting next to me holding your foot. Evie is even sweeter to you when she thinks that I am not looking. I hear her whisper to you and see her share toys with you. She really wants you to be able to hold things in your hand and works so hard to get you to grasp objects. Evie smeared yogurt in your hair the other day but you did not seem to mind and a goldfish popped out of your outfit this afternoon leftover from snack time.
You are having some reflux issues but our pediatrician gave us some tips to try. We hope it helps but you are so happy except when your belly hurts. I love all the snuggles and holding my sweet baby boy. You make our family complete and we are so happy you are here!
Love Always,
Mommy and Daddy
one month already?!?!?! don't you feel like it goes by sooooo much faster with the second one?
ReplyDeletei LOVE LOVE LOVE henry's spiky hair - precious! these are such cute pictures - he sure is a handsome little guy. it's funny the things that these girls want their babies to do....libbi always tries to get laney to hold things and it frustrates her to no end that she will not open up her fist - ha! she also will tell her, "no no lay lay. no kick me" when laney kicks her little legs around. it makes me laugh every time, because libbi is so serious about telling her sister what to do....i'm sure it is just a small glimpse of the bossiness to come ;-)
hope y'all get the reflux issues worked out soon. reflux is for the birds, that's for sure! :)
"WOW" to Henry holding his head up already, what a strong little guy! The pictures are precious.
