Working Hard for my Money!

Well, maybe not for money but this potty training is hard work! Evie is doing great and we are seeing lots of progress. It's a full-time job getting her to the potty every 30 minutes. I think she is ready to go longer intervals which will help us both out! Everyone is exhausted from being on watch all the time. Now, we just have to try venturing out of the house. Not sure that I am ready for that - just adding clothes today made it more difficult. She spent the weekend in her shirt and panties which made frequent potty trips super simple! Dresses make it easy but it's going to be cooler this week. Carl is excellent at potty training and has been a HUGE help!

We stayed home another day and enjoyed lunch with our sweet friends, the Porters. It was so fun and we loved having them over. Evie is really impressed with Jacob's sister, Anna. Lunch was super simple with my favorite turkey sandwich. It's turkey, bacon, Havarti cheese for Kristin, arugula and fig preserves! Try it, especially on Publix 5 Grain Sourdough bread. Delicious!

Nap time was successful again meaning all three of us slept at the same time! Carl got home in time for a walk around the neighborhood and then he grilled some chicken for dinner. It has been a gorgeous day! Fall is my favorite time of year in Nashville.
