Labor Day in Nashville

We had a great Labor Day in Nashville. It was our first Labor Day not traveling since we met 7 1/2 years ago. Evie has changed everything! We went to the park this morning for a stroll. Then Evie took her nap and then we went to Green Hills Mall. I think it's the coolest mall not so sure Carl agrees. He did like Davis-Kidd bookstore. It's so fun to play with Evie there. They have really good toys and there are always friendly people in there too. I had a fruit tea while Evie played with the blocks. It was a little strong but refreshing.
Look who has decided to try her sippy cup, we are really making progress with her. She does best when she is on the floor. I think she will get it soon if we keep trying everyday.

We have looked at some houses over the weekend and have learned there are two types of houses for sale in Nashville. If the sign says: For Sale then we can afford it and if says: Available then it may be available just not to us. We think it's so funny! Brentwood is an expensive place to live but there is so much to do and it's close to everything. However, as they say in real estate - location, location, location. There are certainly a lot of houses to choose from here. We will find a house soon and together we will make it a home for our family.

  1. Sounds like a great Labor Day! It seems like yall are always going places and doing fun things, which I think is fabulous! :o) Aubrey did sleep last night, thank goodness! She woke up crying once but ended up going back to sleep on her own before I could even go to comfort her. Sorry Evie's night wasn't so great :( If it is teeth, I hope they come in fast!
