Monkey's Treehouse!

Evie was still sleeping this morning so we skipped Kindermusik. We will make it up next week. I do not like to wake her up on days that I know she will not have an afternoon nap. We met Maura and Abby at Monkey's Treehouse. It was our first time going and it was really fun! Spring break was probably not the best choice of time to go. There were a lot of BIG kids there. I could feel the Mama Bear coming out in me as Evie got knocked down, hit and pushed out of the way. I gave one little girl my evil teacher eye when she tried to knock Evie off the slide! Not sure it worked but her mother did come over to see what was going on. Evie certainly shed some tears today but she also had a lot of fun. I will be sure to teach Evie to be sweet to little kids when she is big. Evie shared some blocks with a little girl named Sadie who was 9 months old. It's always nice to see your child sharing. The best part is that they are building a second location in Cool Springs so it will be easier for us to go play. Abby and Evie had fun playing in the dress-up section, riding the toys, and playing in the giant sandbox! Maura was amazed at quickly Evie gets around. I am convinced that Evie might be part Cheetah because she is across the room before you know it! We played for about two hours and then Evie was tired. I knew she was tired because she was sitting in my lap instead of acting like a Cheetah! She was asleep before we left the parking lot.
