5 Years!

Carl and I are celebrating our five year wedding anniversary today! We can hardly believe it's been so long. That's two moves ago and before Evie was the center of our life. Lots can change but we are still living happily ever after. I am so lucky to be married to such a patient, loving husband who works so hard to be a strong provider for our family! Happy Anniversary, Carl! I love you more every day.

  Evie was sweet enough to send us some flowers. She is so advanced that she even wrote a little card, "Happy Anniversary to the best Daddy and Mommy in the world! I am so happy to be your little girl. Love, Evie." Thank you Evie for sending us such a beautiful, thoughtful bouquet. It's a mystery who really sent it so thank you for the gorgeous bouquet.

   Evie and I had a low-key day. All three of us are pretty congested. Carl and I seem to have the worst of it and can hardly breathe. Maybe a night off from being Mommy and Daddy will do the trick! Evie's babysitter will be here soon. She's exhausted and will probably not even notice that we are gone.

    Evie napped for 3.5 hours this morning. I did not wake her because I was sleeping and then decided that we could just put her to bed early. We ran a few errands this afternoon and went to Open Gym at Gymboree. Evie's friend Paige told her Mommy that Evie is her best friend. How sweet is that! Happy Friday!
