Boomama DipTacular Event

Boomama is hosting a DipTacular event today and since I LOVE dips I joined up. I make this dip a few times a year and always get compliments! My friend, Debbie, gave it to me and it has become one of my favorites. It's so tasty! Can't wait to see everyones recipes.

Apple Blue Cheese Dip:

1 block of cream cheese - softened

1/2 cup of sour cream

1/4 cup of blue cheese crumbles

2 cups of Gala apple, chopped finely with peel

1/4 cup of pecans or walnuts

Beat cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth using a hand-mixer. Add cheese, nuts and apples. Put in fridge for a few hours or overnight. Serve with crackers. I like Carr's or wheat thins. Delicious!

Wasabi Dip:
My sister in law, Lollie, gave me this recipe. I get most of my good recipes from her. This is the easiest dip you will ever make and you will get so many compliments and questions. It's a great conversation starter.

1 block of cream cheese

1 bottle of Dietz and Watson Wasabi sandwich sauce, it's green

sesame seeds toasted, a couple of teaspoons

soy sauce

Put block of cream cheese on a pretty plate. Squirt sauce in a zigzag pattern on cheese. Swirl soy sauce around edge of plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with the rice crackers found in the Ethnic food section at grocery store. Delicious and different!
