Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter with our little Easter treat, Evie. She looked so beautiful in her smocked, yellow dress. It was Mary and Lucy's dress so that made it extra special. She looked so precious that she wore her dress all day. The Easter bunny stopped by our house this morning and brought Evie some treats. He brought yogurt melts, fruit strips, a bathing suit, play-dough, watercolors and a little chick. She She and Poppy bought Evie some Easter treats too. She will look cute in her new bathing suit.

Church was at 7:45 this morning which worked out really well. It was not crowded at all and Evie was able to nap. Evie did pretty well in church but we spent a lot of time walking around. There was a little girl dressed like an Easter bunny who hopped right into church. Evie was not too impressed but she liked listening to the choir rehearse.

We came home and Evie napped. I prepared lunch. We had ham, squash casserole, green beans, salad and rolls. Dessert was fresh berries with whipped cream. It all turned out nicely and we enjoyed lunch on the patio. Evie thought it was really fun eating lunch outside and tried everything on the menu.

Evie had a short rest in her crib and then was nonstop the rest of the afternoon. She is like our own little Energizer bunny. I am EXHAUSTED from running around after her. We chatted with some neighbors and went for a walk. It was a nice relaxing day at home.

We just finished some ham sandwiches and now we are watching The Blind Side. It's that good, make sure you see it, if you have not already.

Happy Easter!
