Too hot for anything!

You know it's going to be hot when it's 80 degrees at 7:00 in the morning. Carl went running this morning to beat the heat but it was already pretty bad. Evie slept pretty late this morning. We went to the rec center so I could workout. Evie went to the Child Watch and she did great. I was so worried about leaving her since she usually totally freaks out. I warned the ladies that she is a bit of a diva and that Raffi would help her if she got upset. I went to workout and peeked in at her a few times. She was just walking around looking at the other children. I was so excited to see her playing with the kitchen set when I came back to get her. She was so happy to see me and has been a little clingy. It's okay with me. I love all of her snuggles. We went to the library to cool off and let Evie play with the train table. It was so hot already but we played outside for a few minutes once we got home. Heat does not seem to bother Evie but I kept her hydrated.

Evie went down for her nap and I prepared dinner. She's had a few problem diapers today so Carl got her some Pedialyte. I think she liked it since she guzzled it down. Let's hope it helps her feel better. We had fun playing this afternoon and enjoyed a nice family dinner with Carl. Evie LOVES chicken casserole and even let me feed it to her. She's still throwing most of her food onto the floor. It drives us crazy so that makes her throw even more. It's starting already!

  1. We have some Keds sorta like Evie's! Also I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the upholstery on your chair in the last pic! It looks almost like seersucker!
