Sleeping Beauty!

Evie and I had such a fun day together! She helped me sort laundry and clean the bathroom before nap. I had to wake her to go to Kindermusik. Poor little thing - I just kept snapping pictures of her while she was sleeping. She must have been worn out because nothing woke her up. She was so sweet and cuddlesome this morning. I love that special time with her when she pulls on my hair and holds my hand! She is just so sweet!

We had a great time at Kindermusik. It's the highlight of our week. Evie came home for lunch which she promptly threw on the floor. Mandarin oranges and cheese are her two favorite foods. I had to wake her up again because we had a playdate. Busy day around our house!

Evie was so excited to see her friends Logan and Cassidy. They actually pay attention to each other these days which makes it even more fun. It was good for me to have some girl talk too.

It's been one year since I taught school. Pretty crazy but January 14 was my last day. My water broke at 1:15 in the morning on the 15th. I remember waking up around 12:30 feeling very achy so I jumped in the tub. Well, maybe jumped is not the best word but you get the point. I told Carl that it was time to go to the hospital and went downstairs for a snack. Little did I know that bagel would have to tide me over until 8:00 AM on the 16th.

Our laundry room is still not complete. It's taking a lot longer to paint then he thought - the closets look so nice and fresh. I cannot wait to get everything finished in there. Can you tell the difference yet?
